Been caught up with things to do and I’ve been under the weather so apologies for the late posts. Today’s, or rather Day 34’s, shot is of a British Public Telephone Box that’s within my estate. You see, my estate’s a British Tudor design development, so I guess they put these boxes in to add to the British feel. Only problem is that from what I’ve heard Singapore Telecoms wanted to charge the developer an exorbitant amount just to wire these boxes up, so they were left there more for decoration than to serve any proper purpose. In fact, there’s another one in the park within the estate too. I guess it doesn’t make any difference to us anyway – who uses public phones anymore?
